The Raven
I was on an old ship, Middle Ages. Sailing on the sea. It was a bright sunny day.
A raven landed on the opposite deck railing. After a moment it flew over to me, transforming into a large soldier with an iron crusader war helmet. You could not see his face, inside was all black.
Reaching his helmet, he began to remove it. As he lifted it up the black face was replaced with a bright white shining light that grew in intensity as the helmet was removed. At the same time, in concert the daylight sun faded into night. You could see the line of shadow passing over the water and boat.
Then as the soldier set his helmet back on, the light from his face started to veil and the night retreated outside to return back to bright daylight.
